i had to post this because well look at how gorgeous it is! i made an avocado aioli with this one but my favorite (& semi homemade) guac recipe is below.
and please don’t tell me that you don’t like guac until you try this. then we can talk.
- 3 avocados (make sure they are ripe by pressing on the skin – there should be some give. it should not be mushy or hard. i usually end up looking like a crazy person because i feel them all and then pull out the ones i like)
- 1 lime
- a couple of garlic cloves
- small handful of chopped cilantro (optional – i use it if i have it but i’ve left it out plenty of times too)
- 2 heaping tablespoons of fresh made salsa – not the in the jar stuff (we like the kind the sell in the produce section of the supermarket – or you could make your own, i just like how the fresh salsa at the store has the veggies all teeny tiny sliced)
